North College is closed between Cherry Street and Vine from July 16th to July 18th, 2018. You’ll have to use an atlernate route to visit your favorite dispensary for the next few days.
The city of Fort Collins is working with Burlington North Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway to replace the train tracks that have been in disrepair for the last year, splitting the $196,000 total cost. The city will first mill the asphalt from Cherry to the bridge crossing the Poudre, and then allow BNSF workers to replace the tracks on Monday and Tuesday. The Street Department will then replace and repair the road on July 18th, with hopes of work being completed and the road opened at 5 AM on July 19th. They will also be adding blinking yellow turn signals at Cherry Street and College Avenue.
All local businesses will remain open, with a detour being routed through Willow and Vine, using Linden as the main North-South connection. To avoid the heaviest traffic, we recommend using Lemay to Conifer, then coming South on College Ave to our location. You can also go North on College from Vine to reach us as well. Heavy truck traffic should take Vine to Timberline.
